Using high tech games and graphics, clients learn to voluntarily control their heart rate, muscle tension, breathing and other body functions to achieve maximum relaxation and stress reduction.

Practical strategies are offered to help children and adults recognize what triggers anger or stress and how to substitute more healthy coping responses.
We screen children for attention problems, provide parent education, and solutions to common problems such as poor follow through on tasks, low frustration tolerance, homework challenges, difficulty getting ready on time, and friendship issues. We offer a variety of programs to address the special challenges of children with PDD, including home visits, behavior management plans, intensive social skills training programs, and individual therapy to promote friendships and minimize obsessive compulsive behavior and temper control problems.
We use a short term, cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) approach to help children, adolescents, and adults think more positively, act more productively, and feel more confident. Practical, effective strategies are identified to help people learn how to solve problems more effectively. Group therapy is a fun and effective format for two or more people to come together to get support, discuss common concerns, learn new information, practice specific techniques, and get realistic feedback from others about the success of their efforts. Topics especially well suited to a group format are social skills, anger control, and stress management.
